Hi, I’m Nate Lockwood, the founder of Top Land Ventures.
We’re a small, locally owned land company based in Columbus, and we buy vacant land from owners all across Ohio. Put simply, we help landowners turn vacant, raw, and unused land into cash.
Why I do this
I’m passionate about helping people simplify their lives and find peace by moving on from the things that are holding them back. Sometimes that’s a piece of land you never really wanted: acreage you inherited, a lot you bought years ago for plans that didn’t pan out, or property a few hours away that mostly means a tax bill every year and a question in the back of your mind about what to do with it.
Owning land you don’t want isn’t a crisis, but it tends to weigh on people more than they expect. My job is to make letting go of it simple: a fair, straightforward offer, honest answers, and a closing handled properly through a licensed title company, so you can put it behind you and get on with your life.
How I work
When you reach out, you deal with me directly, not a call center. I’ll look at your property honestly, and if it isn’t a good fit for us, I’ll tell you so. If it is, you’ll get a written offer with no fees or commissions and no pressure to accept. You set the pace.
